Our story began in 2013 when we met as former DI collegiate athletes. We immediately connected on our shared athletic background and the values it instilled in us. Over the years we ambitiously chased our dreams–whether on the field, in the boardroom, or in everyday life while cheering each other on.

One afternoon over lunch in San Francisco, we found ourselves discussing our desire to find an energy source that didn't rely on artificial ingredients, excessive sugar and stimulants that inevitably would lead us to crash hours later. We wanted a simple, clean product we could truly trust.

That vision became MatchUP.

MatchUP is the first and only performance matcha of its kind — crafted specifically to fuel both body and mind. At the heart of every serving is ceremonial grade matcha, known for containing L-theanine, leucine, and valine to support sustained energy, focus and recovery. We simply add organic blue agave–a sweetener with a low glycemic index–for a 2-ingredient mix.
